Anna Barney is Professor of Biomedical Acoustic Engineering in the Institue of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton, UK. Her research interests are in the areas of speech acoustics and speech processing for biomedical applciations, the use of lung sounds for diagnosis and heath monitoring and in the practice of listening.
