Laura Schwartz is a neuropsychoanalytic psychotherapist, organizational development consultant, and multi-media artist. Translator, innovator, facilitator and vision-holder, her work blends a strong grounding in systems theories—in psychology, physics, biology and neuroscience—with the aesthetic power of the arts, to design and develop targeted offerings in innovation and strategic change. Her work is now predominantly focused on collaborative facilitation and articulating the neuroscience of the collaborative process.
She holds degrees in International Relations, Political Science and Public Administration, and Clinical Social Welfare, with post-graduate training in Neuropsychoanalysis. She has trained extensively in contemplative practice, music, dance, and visual and literary arts. She produced a film on collaborative innovation, “Listening Between the Lines,” filmed at the George Lucas Skywalker Sound Studios in Northern California. She is currently working on a collection of interviews of elder luminaries, looking at the wisdom and insights gleaned from six or more decades of life and how they apply to today's world.
