Abstract: This work proposes to reflect on the relevance of Electronic Art in the formation and production of contemporary knowledge and its affinities with the field of Design from historical principles and practices. It discusses the Design vocation to transdisciplinary production and constant experimentation that expands the boundaries between Art, Science, and Technology. The chapters reflect the epistemological problems encountered and bring the analysis, concepts, and examples of Electronic Artworks, from initial stages of experimentation to publicly presented models. In addition, interviews were conducted with teachers, students, specialists, and researchers from related areas to assist in the comparative analysis and interpretation.
