I am "Directeur de recherche émérite at CNRS, IMJ-PRG, Sorbonne, Paris (France). I am a mathematician, at the frontier with theoretical computer science and some statistical physics. One of my main interests is in "automatic sequences" that lie somewhere between regularity and chaos. I worked and published with composers, including André Mouret and Tom Johnson, and I have a paper in preparation with Christopher Adler.
