Professor Liu Yuelin conducts design research into how the complex systems are designed, focusing on the mechanism of design creativity, abductive reasoning and interactive experience. Based on the interdisciplinary approaches inspired from social science, psychology and philosophy, he also looks insight into the applications of intelligent design in product-service system design. Yuelin is the Director of the Hebei Technology Innovation Center for Intelligent Industrial Design, and a Fellow of the China Industrial Design Society, and a senior member of Hebei Think Tank of Design Innovation.
