Aksiniya Peycheva (b. 1990, Bulgaria) lives and works in Sofia. She holds a PhD from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, where she also teaches. The focus of her work is the pro- cess of visual translation, wherein she explores the possibilities of shifting information between different fields of knowledge— how one or several scientific fields can be combined in order to answer a question only relevant to art. She often collaborates with scientists, and her projects are usually accompanied by a theoretical component, which include the visual translation of music or pain.
