Andrew C. Smith is a composer and keyboardist living in Santa Cruz, California. His music often involves just intonation tunings, repetition, and language at the threshold of making sense, often connected to computational processes throughout the composition. He is the Executive Director of Indexical, a nonprofit experimental music venue and presenter in Santa Cruz. He holds a D.M.A. in Music Composition from UC Santa Cruz, studying with Larry Polansky, David Dunn, and Carla Harryman.
