Lucie Lederhendler is a writer, curator, and artist of Yiddish and settler ancestry currently located in Brandon, Treaty Two Territory, Manitoba, Canada. She is the curator at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba (AGSM), and a lecturer at Brandon University.  She has a background in performing arts and a masters in Art Education, and has been published in Canadian Art Teacher magazine and Quebec Heritage magazine. Her environment-based artworks have been included in several shows. Originally from a scenic village in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Lucie is currently fixated on the ocean and the imaginaries that inhabit it.
