Ana Rewakowicz is an interdisciplinary Polish-born artist, living and working in Montreal and Paris. Graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto and Concordia University, Montreal (MFA), she is finishing her PhD in art and science at École Polytechnique, Paris. Known for stimulating, interactive, inflatable works that question our relationship with the environment, she is concerned with issues of sustainability and the need for inter-/trans-disciplinary collaborations to face growing environmental challenges. Currently her art effectuates greater water awareness through the creation of imaginative and sensorial encounters with water. She has works in permanent collections of MACRO (Rome, Italy), MAC (Montreal), MNBAQ (Québec City), Musée de Joliette, and has exhibited in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
