Mario Ramiro, Passes de Mágica (Magic Stunts), sequences of photocopies, 83 x 93 cm, 1979. This work deals with the appearance and disappearance of objects and body parts. This sequence, generated directly on the photocopier, shows a head being wrapped in a strip of white cloth; the head gradually disappears. In many works in this series, the last image is not merely as a blank image, but a record of the absence of a body.
