Lilac Atassi is currently a PhD candidate in computer music at the University of California, San Diego. She holds a BFA in piano performance from the California Institute of the Arts (2017) and has obtained her MFA in music composition and experimental sound practices, also from CalArts (2019). Her current research interests are in the areas of interface design and experimental sound practices.
