Join artists Marco Barotti, Robertina Šebjanič and Gjino Šutić for the next in a series of Liverpool LASER talks.
To open the new exhibition, Oceans 4.0, at FACT, Liverpool LASER (Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendevouz) will bring an afternoon of talks from artists who are pushing the boundaries of artist research and deepening engagement with science.
Introduced by Mark Roughley, Programme Leader MA Art in Science (LJMU), we will be joined by exhibiting artists Marco Barotti, Robertina Šebjanič and Gjino Šutić.
Oceans 4.0 presents three artists’ projects that monitor, reflect and imagine the future of our threatened oceans. It brings together new work emerging from recent artists’ residencies organised across Europe by the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) and opens up the conversation about FACT's 2020 focus on the environmental challenge facing our planet.
Oceans 4.0 is part of the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) European Media Artists in Residence Exchange (EMARE) programme, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
