Audax M. Gawler is an award-winning\, multigenre Symbiopunk whose\n practice sits at th e intersection of speculative design\, ecological humanities\,\n and more-than-human world-building. Their research-driven work develops\n embodied an d participatory prototypes that enact ecological f utures attentive\n to multispecies justice\, feral imaginaries\, and collaborative survival. This\n inquiry spans exhibitions\, publications\, worksho ps\, and public programs\n commissioned by leading institutions including the Powerhouse Museum of A pplied\n Arts and Sciences\, Ian Potter Museum of Art\, Australian Network for Art and\n Technology\ , Art + Australia\, Sydney Institute for the Envir onment\,\n Multicultural Arts Victoria\, Next Wave \, Konstfack University of Arts\, Crafts\n and Des ign\, and the International Digital Media & Art As sociation. Gawler\n has received the Association o f Professional Futurists’ Most Significant\n Futur es Works Award and a Green Room Award\, and has be en a finalist in The\n TMRRW Awards\, the Incinera tor Art Award: Art for Social Change\, and the Nor thern\n Beaches Environmental Art & Design Award. They are co-founder of the Trans*\n Ecology Club\, one half of the queer-time lab GEOFADE\, and dire ctor of Urthling\,\n a transdisciplinary studio su pporting the transition to the Symbiocene.
