Leonardo Criptech Artist Olivia Ting has won first place in the film category at the 2024 Global Asian Creative Awards for her short film Song Without Words. Olivia Ting's recognition at the Global Asian Creative Awards is a testament to her innovative work supported by the Leonardo Criptech Incubator. Ting’s contributions to Leonardo include publishing the artist article “Between Piano and Forte: Hearing with Aids” in Leonardo Volume 57, Issue 2, where she connects reviving her piano practice after a 20-year hiatus with her deaf right ear “learning” to hear again with a cochlear implant. Her success not only showcases her individual artistry but also underscores the vital role of inclusive and diverse creative initiatives in the global art landscape.
