Nadine Wanono is a researcher at the National Center for Scientific
Research in Paris CNRS, working as visual anthropologist among the Dogon
people in Mali West Africa. She has realized several films on
rituals and daily
life, and written wrote a book and several
articles on the Dogon way of life. She has been involved in workshops
held by Marcos Novak at UCSB on
the concept of Transvergence and Liquid Architecture and in
collaborative work with media artists.
She plans to begin interdisciplinary research with her anthropological
material gathered during the last twenty years in the Dogon country
as the basis for collaborative works with computer media artists.
