ISEA, the Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts, is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the electronic arts. ISEA was founded as a result of the First Symposium on Electronic Art (FISEA), held in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in 1988. Since then, the ISEA Symposia have attracted a gathering of international participants presenting new media research, exhibiting artworks and actively debating and exchanging on art and technology. ISEA has members in more than 30 countries and coordinates a large network of artists, researchers, scientists and students in the domain of electronic arts. In addition to its bimonthly newsletters and many other benefits, members receive subscription discounts to the journal Leonardo. |
