Klaus Hu, artist, researcher, curator, was born 1963 in Heidelberg, Germany.
After a short sneak-study in literature at University of Heidelberg, Germany,
1982/83, he studied stagedesign, photography and video at UdK, Berlin, 1985/1991
and received a fellowship of the Berlin Senate in 1992 for artists working with
fotography. Videoworks from 1987 till 2006. Took part in international
festivals: Sao Paulo, Brazil. JVC Tokyo, Japan. (SPECIAL MERIT AWARD).
Berlin (cinema Arsenal), Germany. WRO Wroclaw, Poland. Osnabrück (EMAF),
Germany. AVE Arnheim, Netherlands. Continued education in Visual Culture
during a guest study at Katharina Sieverding, UdK, Berlin from 1998/99.
Took part in sitespecific competitions from 1998 till 2005 and extending
my research on conceptual and curatorial topics in 2005/6 beside
studiobased practice in painting. Currently he is researching
Space and Narrative Identity focusing on installative approaches.
Took part in conferences Mutamorphosis Prague and Re-Place Berlin 2007.
Currently invited to ISEA 2008 July in Singapore.
