Pamela Grant-Ryan has been Managing Editor of Leonardo since 1984. Prior to that time, she worked as an editor and managing editor of various technical publications produced by the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia. During her tenure with Leonardo/ISAST she has directed and coordinated innumerable special issues and special projects, increased the journal’s publication frequency from quarterly to bi-monthly, overseen a redesign of the journal and served as an advisor for many of the organization’s new programs and long-term planning. Currently she serves in an advisory capacity to the Leonardo/ISAST board of directors and is project manager for the Leonardo Experimental Publishing initiative. She is also a musician, songwriter, dancer and mother.
