Penelope Finnie co-founded Ask Jeeves, a public Internet Search engine incorporated in 1996. While at Ask Jeeves, she developed Ask Jeeves for Kids, was producer, art director, executive editor, biz dev person, strategist, chief evangelist, and recruiter, sometimes all at once. Her final role there was Chief Creative Officer. Prior to Jeeves, she had a web development company. For 10 years, she was a painter in the Washington, D.C., Baltimore area. She has a BA from Princeton in Art History/Studio Art and a MFA from Columbia University. She serves on the board of the Oakland Art Gallery. |
