Jody Diamond is a composer, performer,and independent scholar. She is aninternational expert on contemporary music for gamelan. She is the editor andpublisher of "Balungan", an international journal devoted to Southeast Asianperforming arts and their international counterparts. Her compositions forgamelan, voice and other instruments have been performed internationally. Shehas taught at U.C. Berkeley, Mills College, Goddard College, Dartmouth College,and at Monash University in Australia.
