About Leonardo Reviews
Leonardo Reviews in its present form has been running for well over a decade. In 2005 it moved its editorial offices to the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. Leonardo Reviews comprises a dedicated team of Associate Editors and a panel of about eighty reviewers drawn from artists, scholars and other leading professionals across the world who are working at the edge of research into the convergence of the arts, science and technology. Although largely directed toward the anglophone community and substantially driven by the dominant discourses in Europe and the USA, Leonardo Reviews is represented in five continents and welcomes the opportunity to include material that is not published in the English language. Leonardo Reviews publishes reviews of books, exhibitions, DVDs, CDs and conferences exclusively commissioned from its standing panel. Publishers are invited to submit appropriate materials for the panel who then select items for review. These reviews are usually filed within eight weeks and on or around the first of the month they are published on the Leonardo Reviews website (http://leonardo.info/ldr.html) along with a list of materials received. In addition, four times a year an edited selection of these is published in a special section of Leonardo. All reviews received and published are archived on the website and access to current and past reviews does not require a subscription. Monthly notification of updates is circulated to an elective mailing list and a number of bulletin boards. Publishers and authors interested in having their print or electronic publications considered for review by the panel should contact; Michael Punt
