Fred Andersson

Fred Andersson is a PhD in the history and theory of art and taught at Lund University (Sweden) between 2002 and 2007. His thesis is published in Swedish as Elis Eriksson – Ting och tecken (Elis Eriksson – Objects and signs, Lund: Sekel 2007) with an extensive summary in English.  He is currently active as an art critic for Svenska Dagbladet and other publications in Sweden. He has also curated and co-curated a number of art exhibitions. Special fields include history of modernist aesthetics, semiotic picture theory, interrelations of arts, and media and society.
